FAQ

Common questions

How does anonymous tracking work?
WysLeap gives each visitor a random, anonymous ID stored in their browser's local storage. No cookies, no names or emails, and no tracking across other sites. Device fingerprinting is being tested in a measurement-only mode and is not used to identify anyone; for EU/UK visitors it only runs after your site records consent.
What data is collected?
Behavioral and basic device signals: browser type, screen resolution, visit patterns, scroll depth, and click positions. IP addresses are anonymized (last octet removed), no cookies are set, and no names or emails are collected.
What happens if I exceed my event limit?
Each plan has a monthly event limit: 1M events on the free trial and 1M on Pro. You see a warning at 80% usage. Once you reach the limit, new events aren't recorded until the next month starts, so contact us before then if you need more and we'll move you to a plan that fits. Enterprise: custom limits.
Can I try before I buy?
Yes. Every new account gets a 90-day free trial with all Pro features except SEO & GEO and no credit card. After that, Pro is $30/month. Enterprise and Agency plans include a consultation with our team.
What happens when my free trial ends?
Your account becomes read-only: you can still see all the data collected during your trial, and we keep collecting new data in the background so you don't lose anything. Upgrade to Pro ($30/month) and all of it appears in your dashboard, including everything collected since your trial ended.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes. Contact us and we'll change your plan. Your data is always preserved.
